What can I expect from Seeing Auschwitz The Exhibition?
Seeing Auschwitz incorporates 100 photographs, sketches and testimonies and re-examines each “frozen moment” by looking more closely at the individuals in front of and behind the camera lens, and asks searching questions about what each image really reveals. Visitors are confronted by what it means to go beyond the gaze of the perpetrator, the victim, and the onlooker, to more fully understand the reality of the German Nazi camp Auschwitz, and to reflect on what this means for us today.
What is the estimated duration of the visit?
The visit will take approximately 50-60 minutes, but if you wish to stay longer inside the exhibition you can do so without any problem.
What are the opening hours?
The Exhibition is open Tuesdays to Fridays from 10am until 7pm and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am until 7pm.
Will there be guided tours?
No. The visit to the exhibition includes a free audio guide that will guide you personally and explain the exhibition room by room. You can download it from your mobile phone with a QR code available at the entrance.
Do I have to pay extra for the audio guide?
No, it is always included with your ticket. It can be downloaded on your smartphone device with a QR code at the entrance of the exhibition. Thus, we strongly encourage guests to bring their own headphones. Free public Wi-Fi will be available on-site. The audio guide is available in English and Spanish.
I have a hearing impairment: how can I still enjoy the guide?

Feel free to take photos. When taking photos, please make sure not to disturb other guests. Professional equipment, selfie sticks and tripods are not permitted.
